Most of the larger towns and cities in Florida regulate property zoning. The zoning plan keeps heavy industry near railway lines and far from residences. Government to owners of income-producing real estate, often allowing the owner to pay no taxes on the property income, and even to decrease the taxes payable on income from other sources.
